Keto Collagens MCT

Keto collagen powder is hydrolysed bovine collagen blended with organic MCT oil powder from coconut, stirred into a hot drink rather than eaten. A 20 g serving gives 10.3 to 14.2 g of protein, 0.7 to 2.0 g of carbohydrate and 62 to 87 kcal. Protein supplies 58 to 71 per cent of that energy, so every blend here is high in protein. Seven flavours, 300 g and 800 g tubs, from £1.70 a serving.

What is in keto collagen with MCT?

Every blend starts from hydrolysed bovine collagen and organic MCT oil powder made from coconut. Organic erythritol and acacia fibre follow on each list, and the shortest of the seven runs to four ingredients.

Collagen is printed first on all eight labels, so it is the largest part of the scoop by weight. The MCT arrives as a powder rather than an oil, which is what lets a spoonful dissolve in a drink without a blender.

What changes between the flavours is the last line or two of the list: natural vanilla extract powder, organic cacao seed powder, organic matcha, or freeze dried strawberries and raspberries.

Sweetening is the same throughout. Every list carries organic erythritol, and not one of the eight names sugar as an ingredient.

Is collagen powder keto friendly?

A 20 g serving carries 0.7 to 2.0 g of carbohydrate and 0 to 1 g of sugars. Five of the seven blends declare no sugars at all on their nutrition table.

The two fruit blends sit at the top of that range. Fresh Strawberry and Wild Raspberry each declare 2.0 g of carbohydrate and 1 g of sugars a serving, and both come from the freeze dried fruit on the list rather than from anything added.

The other five run from 0.7 g to 1.1 g of carbohydrate a serving. Energy stays between 62 and 87 kcal in the same spoonful, and the sweetness comes from erythritol, a polyol.

How much protein is in one serving?

One 20 g serving gives 10.3 to 14.2 g of protein. Protein supplies 58 to 71 per cent of the energy in these blends, against a threshold of 20 per cent for high in protein, so all eight clear it by roughly three times.

Per 100 g the tables run from 51.5 g to 71 g of protein. Unflavoured sits at the top because nothing else shares the tub with the collagen and the MCT powder.

  • Unflavoured 300 g: 14.2 g protein, 87 kcal a serving
  • Organic Matcha 300 g: 11.2 g protein, 69 kcal
  • French Vanilla 300 g and 800 g: 11 g protein, 62 kcal
  • Natural Chocolate 300 g: 11 g protein, 65 kcal
  • Fresh Strawberry 300 g: 11 g protein, 67 kcal
  • Coconut & White Chocolate 300 g: 10.7 g protein, 64 kcal
  • Wild Raspberry 300 g: 10.3 g protein, 71 kcal

Protein for training is a different purchase, built on a complete amino acid profile and a larger scoop. If that is what you are after, our keto whey protein powder comes in the same flavour range and its own category.

How does collagen MCT powder differ from plain collagen powder?

Plain collagen powder is a single ingredient; these blends add MCT oil powder, erythritol and acacia fibre. That puts 1.7 to 3.3 g of fat in a serving where plain collagen powder has none.

The names follow the same split. Collagen MCT, MCT collagen and keto collagen all describe the blend, while plain collagen powder means the one ingredient on its own.

The serving differs too: 20 g, measured as two scoops, against the 10 g serving that a single ingredient powder usually carries.

If it is the fat you want and not the collagen, that ingredient is sold on its own. Our MCT oil powder comes in the same powdered format, without collagen in the tub.

Which keto collagen powder should you choose?

Unflavoured carries the most protein of the seven, 14.2 g a serving, on a list of four ingredients. It is the one blend with no flavouring line at all, which is why its table reads higher than the rest.

Four blends take their flavour from an extract or a natural flavouring: French Vanilla, Coconut & White Chocolate, Natural Chocolate and Organic Matcha. Organic Matcha is built on organic matcha powder, and matcha carries caffeine naturally; the pack does not state the amount.

Fresh Strawberry and Wild Raspberry take theirs from freeze dried fruit, which is why they are the two blends with 1 g of sugars and 2.0 g of carbohydrate a serving.

Flavour aside, the tables sit close together: 10.3 g to 11.2 g of protein across every flavoured blend, with Unflavoured the outlier above them.

What does one serving cost?

A 300 g tub holds 15 servings of 20 g at £28.90, which is £1.93 a serving. French Vanilla is £27.90 for the same 300 g, or £1.86 a serving.

French Vanilla is also the flavour sold in two sizes. The 800 g tub is £67.90 and holds 40 servings of the same recipe, which works out at £1.70 each.

Moving from the small tub to the large one on that recipe cuts the cost per serving by 8.7 per cent.

The other six flavours share one price, £28.90 for 300 g, so the cost per serving is the same £1.93 whichever of them you take.

Compare the seven flavours in the grid above, check the nutrition table on the flavour you want, and order the tub that matches it, from £1.70 a serving.

Frequently asked questions

What is the downside of taking collagen powder?

Collagen is not a complete protein. It also comes from cattle, so these blends are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, and the sweetener on every list is erythritol, a polyol that some people prefer to avoid.

Why is this powder sold under three different names?

Collagen MCT and keto collagen name one blend. Shops label the same mix of hydrolysed collagen and MCT oil powder as collagen MCT powder, MCT collagen powder or keto collagen powder, and the eight products here appear under all three.

Can you put keto collagen powder in coffee?

Yes, two scoops stirred into a hot drink. The MCT here is a powder rather than an oil, so a 20 g serving goes into coffee, tea or a plant drink without a blender.

Which keto collagen powder has the most protein?

Unflavoured, at 14.2 g protein a serving. Organic Matcha comes next at 11.2 g, and the rest of the range sits between 10.3 g and 11 g in the same 20 g serving.

Does keto collagen powder contain sugar?

Five of the seven declare 0 g sugars. Fresh Strawberry and Wild Raspberry declare 1 g a serving, which comes from the freeze dried fruit rather than from added sugar. The sweetener throughout is organic erythritol.

Where can you buy keto collagen powder in the UK?

All seven flavours are on this page. Prices run from £27.90 for a 300 g tub to £67.90 for the 800 g French Vanilla, and BeKeto ships to addresses in the United Kingdom.
