BeKeto strips are a true “must-have” for anyone starting their ketogenic diet journey. They allow for an easy, quick, and inexpensive way to measure the concentration of ketone bodies and the presence of glucose in urine. Note – the permissible level of sugar in urine is below 1 mg/dl. This means that in a healthy person, the test strips will show a zero value.

BeKeto™ Ketone & Glucose urine strip test is a product designed for self-monitoring of glucose and ketone bodies in urine. The product allows for a quick result - after 15 seconds for the presence of ketone bodies, and after 30 seconds for the presence of glucose in urine. It is recommended to perform these tests in the morning and evening. There are 100 strips in one package. They should be used within 6 months from opening. The strip tests have been produced under laboratory conditions. The tests should be performed by immersing the reaction field in fresh urine. For ketone bodies, the strip will change colour after 15 seconds and for glucose after 30 seconds. Then simply compare the strips with the graphs on the pack.

According to our company guidelines, the macronutrient breakdown in BeKeto is: 60-80% fat, 10 - 25% protein, 5-10% carbohydrates, so as to maintain a healthy metabolic ketosis.

We assume that the total daily carbohydrate supply should not exceed 50g net. People with high physical activity can afford a higher carbohydrate intake according to their individual needs.
