Most delicious cakes are a combination of chocolate and wheat flour. However, this contains a high dose of gluten, which is not recommended for people trying to lose weight. Its excess is particularly not recommended for people on low-carb diets such as the ketogenic diet. Is there an alternative? Of course there is! Instead of wheat flour, you can use almond flour or coconut flour. Baked goods made with these flours will not only taste good, but will also fit in perfectly with the ketogenic diet.

Preparation:
The keto chocolate cake is literally insanely chocolatey in taste, plus it’s healthy and has no added sugar. Add homemade coconut cream and keto fruit to it, and you have a great dessert to surprise your family and friends with. How do you make whipped coconut cream? Open a can of coconut milk and separate the solid part from the liquid part. Then whisk the solid part into a fluffy paste. The cream will be ready when streaks appear on it just like traditional whipped cream. So you can cut the cake lengthways like a sponge cake and top it with coconut whipped cream, mascarpone cheese and then sprinkle it with coconut shavings and ground nuts and almonds. Just remember that depending on the additions, the BTW of the cake may change.
In a pot on a burner, melt the butter and the chocolate in a water bath. Set aside to cool.
Beat the egg yolks and egg whites with a pinch of salt to a fluffy but stiff froth.
Combine the eggs with the cool butter, add the almond flour, dessert chocolate and erythritol. Then mix until the ingredients are perfectly combined.
Grease the sides of the cake tin thoroughly with fat, then pour over the finished mixture.
Bake the cake for about 40 minutes (until a dry stick) in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Sprinkle the finished cake with cocoa and place in the fridge for a few hours until the mixture has set.
Garnish the whole thing with chopped BeKeto chocolate or any other toppings compatible with the keto diet.
