Keto Shakshuka

Can you eat shakshuka on keto?

It is not without reason that the word shakshuka means a big mess. The main base of this dish is tomatoes, peppers and onions with aromatic spices. The eggs are cooked in the resulting tomato and pepper sauce and the whole thing is garnished with coriander. Would a dish like this work on a low-carb diet like the ketogenic diet? It definitely would! Not only will Keto Shakshuka with Tomatoes not undo the effects of the diet, but the high-quality fats it contains can actually help you lose weight.

Preparation:
Cut the onion into feathers and fry them in a pan in hot butter with a little oil.

Add the sliced chorizo. Make sure that it does not burn.

Then add the artichokes and the sliced tomatoes. Salt to taste, add your favourite spices and fry until the water has evaporated from the tomatoes. Add BeKeto Fat Expert.

It is a good idea to cover the bowl with a lid for a while so that slight indentations form into which the eggs can be stuffed one by one. Season them with pepper.

Then add the crumbled feta and fry until the egg white has set.

Garnish the finished dish with basil leaves. The flavoursome, thick paste tastes best with gluten-free BeKeto bread.
